Black titanium is the fourth color to join the Chrysmela catch product line.

Chrysmela Noir, in a black titanium coating, will join the current collection, which includes earring backs in yellow gold, platinum, and rose gold.
Discussing the launch of Noir, Chrysmela US Chief, Mayumi Ishii said, “While the original line of Chrysmela comes in gold, platinum and rose gold finish, and has millions of happy users worldwide, we noticed the increasingly popular trend of black earrings or ones made of brushed, darker metals. We decided to create Chrysmela Noir in black titanium, so that everyone can keep their earrings safe, no matter their style.”
Chrysmela has always been for everyone, but for the last 13 years, the brand has typically catered to a softer look, often focusing on high fashion, luxury, bridal fashion, pearls and diamonds. This new product launch is a departure from the brand’s traditionally feminine aesthetics, and marks a new chapter of Chrysmela, highlighting more inclusive fashion, and catering to everyone who wears earrings, whether they’re in the boardroom or in the gym, on stage performing, or doing quick changes backstage at a fashion show.
Ms. Ishii continued, “Everyone wears earrings, so we want to give everyone an option to enjoy the peace of mind that comes with Chrysmela, no matter their style. This falls under our core principle of fashion freedom.”
Chrysmela is the only earring back that automatically fits, locks and lifts all types of earrings. Made in the same high-tech factories in Japan that manufacture elements of smartphone cameras, the precision technology uses three micro ball bearings to securely lock into place. All Chrysmela products are hypoallergenic. The patented mechanism is designed to fit all earring posts measuring 0.6-1.1mm in diameter, including screw posts; this is the widest range available in the world.
This new addition employs the same locking technology as the rest of the collection, and will also be available in the Chrysmela Extra, which boasts a support disk that lifts heavier, and larger diamond earrings. All models of the Chrysmela retail for $50 USD. One pair of Chrysmela replaces all of your earring backs. Chrysmela is made in Japan, with love, and is available in over 1,000 jewelry stores throughout Japan.
